It's serviceable, but a little lumpy and not that comfortable. In fairness to the product, I didn't buy it for a futon couch, and for that purpose, it might be better than average. It's thicker than an average futon, and more comfortable than my 3-4 inch futon that I've had for a number of years. I think the 8 inches is a slight exaggeration - looks more like 6.5 - 7 to me, but that's probably standard for mattress measurements. Overall, for a folding futon couch, this might be a good purchase. As a bed, I'd pay more and get a real mattress unless you're able to sleep on anything. |
